Annoyances big and small were nothing new on Berk, especially as its crumbs of decent weather said their goodbyes.
But it wasn't until last Snoggletog that winter had become something else entirely. Rock-solid drinks in Hiccup's tankard, snow filling his boot while he slept, drawings frosted over in his perfectly cozy room... No matter the measures he took, the insulation he set up, the firewood he collected, it found its way back to him. Truth be told, if he wasn't there already, he probably reached the brink of insanity; It felt like the season itself was playing tricks on him, and him alone at that.So he finally took it upon himself to connect the dots.
