    He wanted to scream, but no sound came out of his mouth. The fear robbed him of his voice, paralyzed him to a point he could do nothing but take the beating and pray they would stop before it was too late.
    And the whole time the only thought in his head was: No one can ever know about this. No one can ever know they're beating me up for kissing a guy.
