Chapter Text
In one day the world changed.
It was a normal day for saiki, go to school, endure his friends the nuisances crowding around him as well everyone's thoughts. All he wanted to do was go home and sleep.
But the universe seemed to have other plans.
He had slipped away from Kaido and Nendou, who had been arguing about something or other again.
Finally, some peace and quiet. Now he could enjoy his walk home in peace.
However, as saiki was walking, he didn't notice someone lurking in the background.
It wasn't often someone got the jump on saiki, the only two able to do that was Kusuke and Nendou.
So when he was dragged into an alley, he was more than surprised.
"Don't shout. No one would be able to hear you."
Wait...he knows that voice.
'What the hell are you doing?!'
Saiki struggled against his captor, but it was no use. Whatever Kusuke had on, it was limiting Saiki's natural strength.
"You know I don't care about humanity. So, I'm going to fix it with your help."
'And what makes you think I'm going to help you?'
"Your participation isn't for you to decide, ku."
Saiki bristles at the nickname. It sounds dirty on Kusukes tongue.
'Won't mum and dad be suspicious that I'm missing? Your plan won't fool them for long.'
"I wouldn't worry about that. I've made arrangements."
This immediately set off alarm bells in Saikis mind.
'What have you done?!'
"Nothing, don't worry about it. Now, we probably shouldn't stand around here for too long, should we."
With that, Kusuke threw Kusuo over his shoulder and began to walk. He tried to kick, to bite, to do anything to deter his brother, but the man seemed unaffected. Could he have possibly found something that limited his powers even further.
That wasn't possible.
...
Was it...?
They walked for several hours until they were met with a building. It was a moody looking building, one of those ones you'd see in a B class horror film. Kusuke threw the doors open.
Inside was a bit more advanced. Corridors upon corridors filled the space. It looked more like a hospital than a run down building. And honestly, the sterile environment scared him.
Saikis always been nervous around hospitals. One test and goodbye Japan, hello area 51, so the fact that Kusuke seemingly threw together a hospital like interior wasn't easing any worries.
Saiki was carried to a large room and he immediately felt the effect. It seemed like whatever was limiting his powers was concentrated in this room. It made a drowsy feeling sweep over Saiki, his eyelids drooping slightly against his will.
"Feeling sleepy, are we?"
He couldn't find the energy to muster up a response to his brothers teasing.
He barely even reacted when he was placed down and Kusuke was starting to hook him up to a machine of some kind before plucking out his inhibitor.
"With your power, I'll be able to change humanity to my will. You may not be helping willingly, but you'll become my biggest weapon. A battery if you will. I won't go into the details of how this machine works. Not that you'd be listening anyway, but I do think you'd want to stay awake for this. It shouldn't hurt much."
As he says this, a whirring sound starts to fill the room, energy seemingly crackling around them. Even in his weakened state, Saiki can feel that somethings wrong.
And then the energy reached him.
It felt like every cell in his body was burning up all at once. The power flowing through him was unlike anything he's ever felt. Like thousands of bolts were running through him, threatening to fry every thought that even dares to bubbles up.
And then the world went dark.
