Summary
Thea is a familiar, freshly escaped from the deeply abusive mage who kidnapped her and bound her to him, damaging her mind and leaving her magically incapable of surviving without a mage bond in the process. She meets Cassidy, a mage looking for a friend and magical partner at a shelter for familiars in situations similar to Thea.
