A lot can change in six weeks, though. New York can almost get sent to the shadow realm by an unstable guy your mother pumped full of super soldier serum, for one.
Your mother can also form the so-called 'New' Avengers out of a band of misfits, for another—and you just so happen to be the only one she trusts to watch them, as the CIA's new 'Special Operations Liaison'.
Which means you have the unique and distinct pleasure of walking into a Watchtower briefing room, and coming face-to-face with James Barnes for the first time in over a month.
