    Summary

"Jason hates patrol in the winter. It reminds him of so many nights spent in the cold of Crime Alley, with nothing but a ragged hoodie and a blanket to cover him. Even now, when he makes sure to put plenty of layers under his armor and jacket, he hates the way Gotham's chill seems to seep into his skin, as if he’s still an underweight kid."

    Or

On the verge of Christmas, Crime Alley is quieter than usual. But when a streetkid hires Jason to find his missing little brother, Jason gets caught in a conspiracy that spans from the bowels of Gotham to the GCPD and something much bigger than either.
