Percy getting asked to marry Jason was the easiest answer in his life.
He’d loved Jason since the moment they met, and when Jason got down on one knee and asked the question? Easy. Yes.
Now, Percy sat looking at the ring.
It was a simple gold band, but in the middle was a blue/green gemstone, around it were lighter blue gemstones.
Both of them matched Percy and Jason’s eye colour respectively.
Percy smiled softly and looked at the man beside him. His fiancé.
Percy hadn’t been able to sleep, but Jason was still fast asleep, and Percy hoped it stayed that way.
By the time Jason and Percy made it home last night, Alex had already fallen asleep, though Cass was still there.
She smiled at them, took a look at the ring, then wished them both well and was off into the night.
Percy sighed as he laid back down, curling tight into Jason, who, even unconscious, wrapped his arms around his torso and pulled him tighter against him.
That’s how Percy fell back asleep, pressed right against Jason and able to feel his heartbeat.
