Summary
Gemma Tavelle is here for the right reasons. They just don’t have very much to do with finding love. Broke, aimless, and qualified to do little more than look pretty, when she gets the chance to be a contestant on "Questing for Love" she leaps at it, hoping that somehow, this will be the thing that gets her life on track.
Astarion Ancunin, teen star turned reality TV producer, has been bored of his job for three seasons. When he watches Gemma elicit drama with no direction whatsoever, he finds himself inspired, and comes to her with a proposal. She’ll be his villain, he’ll make her a star.
It should be simple. They’re both used to wearing masks, both accomplished manipulators. All they need to do is ignore the simmering attraction between them, ignore how they make each other laugh, ignore how, when they’re alone, the masks begin to slip.
