    Six months after the Giant War. Percy and Annabeth are living in New York City. They’re recovering. It’s slow. And nonlinear. They’re figuring out how to be teenagers and war veterans. There’s normal teenager stuff — school and sex and, thank Sally Jackson (because it definitely ain’t the gods), therapy. There’s the other stuff too. The things that make them sleep in shifts and have trouble leaving the apartment.

    You’re in for some angst, some comfort, some recovery and domesticity, and a fuck ton of me trying to write and Percy and Annabeth saying “screw whatever you were doing, we’re gonna be cute goofballs instead.”
