*Our story begins at Pipwolf’s house, he’s packing his stuff and wagging his tail in excitement*
Pipwolf: Hot dawg! Tonight’s gonna be perfect! I’m gonna spend the night with Madi and Sadie!
*He puts a pair of pajamas into his bag, he steps into his bathroom and picks up a toothbrush that has two sections of bristles for his fangs, he lets out an enamored sigh*
Pipwolf: Oh, my darlin’ Marble…I’ll finally get a chance to tell ya how I feel.
*He then sets out, and we see a bottle filled with syrupy medicine that he has left behind; meanwhile at the Stone household, Madi sits on the couch, looking nervous, she takes a deep breath and sighs*
Madi: I don't know if I can do this, Dee..
Sadie: Of course you can, Madi. I mean, he already gave you that sweet nickname, who’s to say he doesn’t love you back?
Madi: I know, but it’s not gonna be easy to get this off my chest. I mean, it’s just embarrassing to confess such a big thing. And what if he doesn’t like me back? Then it’ll just ruin things between us.
Sadie: Well, you’ll never know unless you try. It might help you feel better instead of keeping it all inside.
*Madi sighs*
Madi: Yeah, I guess you’re right.
*They hear the doorbell screeching, Sadie then answers the door, and Pipwolf is standing there*
Pipwolf: Howdy there!
*Sadie's snakes squeak in delight when they see him*
Sadie: Welcome to our home, Pip. Please come in and make yourself at home.
Pipwolf: Don't mind if I do.
*He steps inside and waves at Madi*
Pipwolf: Hey there, Marble, how’s it goin’?
*Madi blushes when she sees him, she averts her gaze from him*
Madi: I-I’m doing ok, Pipwolf, how're you doing?
Pipwolf: Great! Yer lookin’ real purty, that outfit really brings out yer eyes.
*Madi covers her face with her snake hair, her snakes let out flustered squeaks*
Madi: Th-Thanks…
*Pipwolf lets out a flirtatious growl, but it sounds even more animalistic than usual, he puts his hand over his mouth in surprise and Sadie looks at him weird*
Pipwolf: Huh, that’s odd.
*As for Madi, she’s clearly into it, her snakes perk up, and then she shakes her head*
Madi: I-I was not expecting that.. uh, anyway! Who’s up for some dinner?
Sadie: I could eat, I was planning on making spaghetti anyway.
*Sadie’s snakes lick their lips and she goes off to start cooking it, Pipwolf starts drooling and his teeth get sharper than usual, Madi looks at him weird*
Madi: Pip? There’s something up with your teeth.
Pipwolf: Musta forgotten to floss ‘em, silly me.
*He picks his teeth with his claw, Madi cringes a bit*
Madi: …Never mind. Wanna watch some TV while we wait?
Pipwolf: Sure thing! There’s this romantic comedy I’m fond of, it’s called Love at First Bite!
Madi: Wait, you like that show too?
Pipwolf: Like it, nothin’! It’s one of my faves!
Madi: No way! Mine too! I'm especially fond of the third season. …Though not many people know it. I’m afraid they’ll judge me for it.
Pipwolf: Hey, it ain’t hurtin’ nobody. You’re a woman of great taste, Marble.
*Madi gets a wistful look on her face*
Madi: Thanks…this show also brings back a lot of memories.
Pipwolf: What kinds of memories?
*Madi sighs*
Madi: …Never mind. Let’s just watch it.
*Pipwolf turns on the TV and they sit on the couch together, he cuddles up next to her and rests his head on her shoulder, Madi then smiles*
Madi: I feel like I can be myself around him. He really is the one. *She thinks to herself*
*Just then, a full moon is shown on the screen, Pipwolf’s eyes turn yellow and his fur goes all scraggly again, he then lets out a howl*
Madi: What the?!
*Pipwolf clears his throat*
Pipwolf: Sorry. Usually I can control that better.
*His fur and eyes go back to normal, Madi is concerned by this and so are her snakes who look visibly weirded out*
Madi: Uh..Are you doing ok? You weren't this.. animalistic when I first met you.
Pipwolf: I dunno, I’m prolly just hungry. Hunger makes ya do strange stuff.
*Madi cocks an eyebrow, she still isn’t sure, and then Sadie comes in*
Sadie: Dinner’s ready!
Pipwolf: Yeehaw!
*He runs off on all fours to the kitchen, Madi looks at him in trepidation and follows him; in the kitchen, Sadie is serving everyone’s plates*
Sadie: I hope this is okay. I'm not sure if you like spaghetti, Pipwolf, but if you don't, I can always make you a sandwich.
Pipwolf: It’s more than okay, it’s grrreat! *He lets out another feral-sounding growl as he says that last bit*
*Sadie and Madi exchange concerned looks, Pipwolf’s hair gets wild again and he starts wolfing it down messily as his teeth and claws get sharper, he gets tomato sauce everywhere*
Madi: Smaller bites, Pip! Yikes!
*Sadie looks frightened by this, her snakes squeak in fright and curl up, Pipwolf ignores Madi and continues to scarf it down*
Madi: PIP!!
*Pipwolf then stops eating, there is tomato sauce all over his face, resembling blood*
Pipwolf: …Sorry ‘bout that. I dunno what’s gotten into me lately.
*He wipes his face with a napkin, Sadie giggles nervously*
Sadie: Someone’s got an appetite.
Madi: I think it’s more than that. Pip, is there anything else that might be driving you wild?
Pipwolf: Hmm…the only other time I get this feral is when…
*His eyes widen in horror*
Pipwolf: It’s close to a werewolf night…
*Madi looks confused by this, Sadie on the other hand looks concerned, both their snakes tilt their heads*
Madi and Sadie: A werewolf what..?
Pipwolf: Every so often, all werewolves.. or at least the ones from Wolfy Village, lose their minds. I’m not sure about the ones in the other world, but we lash out at everyone and can’t be reasoned with.
*Madi and Sadie, as well as their snakes look genuinely terrified by this*
Sadie: Y-You mean.. you'll go completely feral..? *She says in a scared tone*
*Pipwolf then brightens up*
Pipwolf: Fret not! I’ve got medicine that’ll keep me stable. I’ll be right back.
*He gets up and walks into the living room, we then see him dig through his bag, but much to his dismay, he can’t find it*
Pipwolf: Where is it?!
*He throws out all of his items, and there’s still no sign of it, he looks more and more frantic*
Pipwolf: Nononono! This can’t be happenin’!!
*And right at that moment, the sun begins to set, Pipwolf’s fur gets frizzy, his eyes turn yellow, and his teeth get sharper, he lets out a monstrous growl; the other girls can hear him and their hearts fill with dread*
Madi: That's not good..
Sadie: Uh…Should we hide..?
Madi: Yeah…
*She grabs Sadie by her hand and the two immediately run away, Pipwolf hears their footsteps and his ears perk up, he follows the sound on all fours*
*Madi and Sadie hide under a table, only for Pipwolf to bite into it and splinter it to pieces, Sadie screams and clings to Madi*
Madi: Come on!!
*She takes Sadie’s hand and pulls her away, Pipwolf spits out the wood, he then lets out a ferocious roar and his tail bumps into an urn with bat wings on it, knocking it over, Madi hears this and gasps*
Madi: No!!
*She dives down and catches the urn just in time, she sighs in relief and puts it back where it belongs, Pipwolf very nearly claws her, but Sadie pulls Madi out of the way just in time*
Sadie: Hurry!!
*Madi and Sadie run down the hallway, Sadie and her snakes are hyperventilating*
Sadie: What do we do?! Where do we go?!
Madi: Just stay calm and follow my lead!
*She runs into Sadie's room and shuts the door, she then locks it, she takes a moment to catch her breath and looks around the room, she then spots a dresser on the left side of the room*
Madi: Help me barricade the door!
Sadie: O-Okay!
*The two start pushing chairs in front of the door, they then run towards the dresser and start pushing it towards the door, once they put it in against it, they take a second to catch their breath*
Madi: There, that should keep him out.
*They then hear him roaring and pounding on the door*
Madi: But just in case, let’s hide in here!
*They both run to Sadie’s big walk-in closet, Madi closes the doors and locks them*
Madi: Ok.. Hopefully we'll be safe.
*She then hears the sound of Sadie gently crying, she turns to see Sadie sitting on the ground, sobbing to herself as her snakes nuzzle her in an attempt to comfort her*
Sadie: We're gonna die..! I really don't wanna die..! *She says in a tearful tone*
Madi: We're not gonna die, I promise.
*She sits next to her younger sister and wraps her arms around her*
Madi: There, there, Dee. Your big sister’s got you.
Sadie: But what if he breaks in?
*Madi’s expression darkens as an awful thought comes to her head*
Madi: Then we just might have to-
*And right then, they hear the bedroom door being broken down, they try to be as quiet as they can as to not give off their location, Sadie tightly clings onto Madi, who holds her close for reassurance*
*Pipwolf sniffs around the room, he finally picks up on Madi’s scent and starts pounding on the closet’s door, Sadie bursts into tears and hides behind Madi*
Sadie: He found us! It’s over!! *She says through her sobbing*
Madi: No, it’s not! Just stay behind me!
*Pipwolf then tears his way through the door with his claws and teeth, Sadie shrieks in terror and so do her snakes*
Madi: Pip stop! Don't you recognize us?!
*Pipwolf growls at her*
Sadie: Of course he doesn't recognize us! He's completely vicious!
*Madi looks at Pipwolf with a desperate look on her face*
Madi: Pip..I know you're in there somewhere! I know that you're strong enough to fight back against this!
*Pipwolf tilts his head in confusion*
Madi: You saved my life once, now listen to me and save your own! Fight for who you truly are, and fight to protect the ones you care for! Please! Please come back to us! …Come back to me..!
*She slowly approaches him as she speaks and then she hugs him, tears well up in her eyes as she clings to him, his eyes briefly go back to normal for a moment, but they turn yellow again and he shoves Madi to the ground*
Madi: Pip! Wait!
Sadie: Madi!!
*Pipwolf snarls and runs towards Sadie, she realizes there’s no room for her to run, and she backs up against the wall, trembling with fear, Pipwolf approaches the cornered gorgon, clearly about to strike*
Sadie: No.. No!! Pipwolf! Please!!
*Madi’s eyes widen in horror when she sees this*
Madi: Sadie!!
*Madi gets up, and she winces in reluctance, but she has no other choice, she runs towards Pipwolf and tackles him to the ground, Sadie and her snakes gasp in shock, Madi tries her best to keep Pipwolf pinned on the floor, tears well up in her eyes*
Madi: Pip.. please.. don't make me do this!
*Pipwolf snarls and swipes at her, nicking her on the cheek, she shouts in pain, and now that she has no other option, she takes a deep breath and sighs*
Madi: I'm so sorry…
*With that, she takes off her sunglasses and stares into Pipwolf’s eyes, turning him to stone, Sadie looks on in sadness*
Sadie: Madi, you saved my life..
*Madi puts her sunglasses back on and gives Sadie a distraught, remorseful look, she then breaks down crying, her snakes nuzzle her in an attempt to comfort her*
Madi: I didn’t want to do it…I just wanted to keep you safe, and now…
*Sadie walks towards Madi and pulls her into a hug*
Sadie: I know I know.. I was hoping it wouldn't come to this either but… There was no other way..
*Madi clings onto her and weeps*
Madi: He's gonna hate me when he wakes up..! *She says through her sobbing*
Sadie: Madi.. I doubt anyone could hate you, let alone him..I’m sure he’ll understand, it was just to protect me. I’m his friend, too. He wouldn’t want me to get hurt, or even you.
*She gently pats Madi on the back, Madi wipes at her eyes*
Madi: It's just… It's been so long since I've felt this way about anyone…I don't wanna lose him! Not like I lost her..!
Sadie: I still miss her, too. Though we’ve got Pipwolf now, she’ll never leave our hearts.
*She stands up*
Sadie: What’s important is that we’re not hurt too badly. Let’s get that scratch of yours cleaned up. We’ll bring him back to normal tomorrow.
*Madi wipes the tears from her eyes*
Madi: Ok..
*Sadie takes her sister by the hand and helps her up*
Madi: Wait. I want to put him somewhere cozy first. It’s the least I can do. Can you help me carry him?
Sadie: Of course.
*The two lift up the statue of Pipwolf and take him to the couch, Madi puts a blanket over him*
Madi: Sleep well. *She says solemnly*
*The next morning, we see Madi walk into the living room with a box in her hands and a bandage on her cheek, she walks towards Pipwolf and looks at him with a solemn look on her face*
Madi: Please don't be mad at me..
*She opens the box and inside is green petrifade powder, she picks up a bit of the powder with her fingers and sprinkles it on Pipwolf, she then closes the box*
*Suddenly, cracks starts to form on the stone covering Pipwolf's body, Madi gets a nervous look on her face and her snakes look equally as anxious, then the stone crumbles off of Pipwolf's body, he is now back to normal, he rubs his eyes and yawns*
Pipwolf: Marble?
*Madi gasps in delight, only for her smile to fade, she averts her glance*
Madi: …Morning, Pip.
*Pipwolf looks concerned by this*
Pipwolf: Are you ok? What ha-
*That's when he sees the bandage on her cheek*
Pipwolf: Oh, gawrsh! What happened?! Don’t tell me I-
Madi: Y-Yes…you did…
*Pipwolf is remorseful, he whines like a sad puppy*
Pipwolf: Oh, Marble, I’m so sorry! I shoulda remembered it was my werewolf night! I shoulda brought my medicine! I shoulda-
*Madi then pulls him into a tight hug*
Madi: It's ok.. It's ok..What matters is that you’re okay. That you’re back to your usual self.
Pipwolf: You don’t hate me now? Even after I put ya both in danger?
*Madi’s heart lurches with guilt, she hangs her head and even her snakes have their heads bowed in sadness*
Madi: N-No, I never could. I’m the one who should be sorry. I turned you to stone.
*Pipwolf looks at her in surprise and sadness*
Pipwolf: Madi, I-
Madi: Look, I never wanted to do that! Especially not to someone I love so much! I didn’t know what else to do!
*Pipwolf's eyes widen and his ears perk up when he hears this*
Pipwolf: What did you just say?
*Madi goes from distraught to flustered when she realizes she has let her feelings slip*
Madi: Um…uh…okay, fine, I admit it! I really do love you! And I do mean it like that! You’ve helped me open up more! I don’t feel as ashamed of being vulnerable when I’m with you!
*Her snakes let out flustered squeaks and they cover her blushing face*
Madi: And if anything, I’m scared you won’t like me anymore after what I did…
*Then Pipwolf hugs her back and wags his tail*
Pipwolf: Are ya kiddin’?! I love ya too!
*Madi's eyes widen in shock, her snakes squeak in surprise*
Madi: Wait what?!
Pipwolf: I’ve wanted to tell ya all night, but I didn’t get the chance till now!
Madi: I-I’ve been meaning to tell you all night as well, but I was too scared, and then everything got chaotic and then…
*Pipwolf leans in with his lips puckered, Madi takes this invitation and they both kiss, right then, Sadie comes in and witnesses this, she gasps in delight*
Sadie: O-Oh my!! You confessed, didn’t you?!
*Madi looks up, she’s all flustered and her snakes squeal*
Madi: …Maybe?
*Sadie squeals*
Sadie: Yes! It’s official! Yeah!! I knew he was the one! I-
*Pipwolf then looks nervous*
Pipwolf: Sorry to interrupt, but since I’ve been a statue all night, um…where’s yer bathroom?
Madi: Oh, it’s right next to my room.
Pipwolf: Thanks!
*He then runs off, Sadie chuckles a bit*
Sadie: That always seems to happen to anyone who wakes up from being petrified.
*Madi sighs blissfully, as do her snakes*
Madi: Looks like everything worked out after all. Excuse me for a moment.
*She leaves the room until she comes across the urn with bat wings, she strokes it gently*
Madi: Hey there, my Sonar. I might have someone else in my life now, but I’ll never forget you.
*She hears Pipwolf’s voice*
Pipwolf: Hey, Marble! Wanna get some breakfast?
Madi: Coming, Spunky.
*And with that, she goes to get breakfast with her new boyfriend and her sister*
