The Tide lies on a shoal of pebbles, worn smooth by wild storms, blue silks clinging to his form. He is unused to this humanness they don, preferring the sleek build of the beast he is known for; a dragon, pale as ivory, leaping over foam capped waves.
“After gazing upon my doings on land, you wish to savour the wind and water, when I wait for you, Wriothesley?” Neuvillette speaks His name with the slightest of facetiousness, mirth shimmering in violet eyes. “We have but mere hours before the Assembly. The other Gods are not as patient as I am.”
- The Moon and the Tides are lovers, destined to act in favour of the other's motions. Once every half millennia, they are able to descend from their Heavenly seats and walk the lands as mortals do, to attend the Assembly of the Gods. The world changes, and with it, the Ether stirs.
