Work Text:
Where was he…?
Everything was so bright. Like there's a light shining right at him? Where was it coming from?
“Bee!”
Who was calling his name? Did they see the light too?
It almost felt peaceful here. Maybe they could join him. They wouldn't have to go through the war anymore.
A harsh slap brought him back to reality.
“Bee!”
The con in front of him shouted as Bee gasped, suddenly back to reality.
“Wha…what happened…?”
When Bee tried to sit up, Breakdown gently pushed him back down.
“Stay down, you have a nasty wound on your side that I need to do something about.”
Bee looked down to his side and sure enough, there was a huge gash that was very bloody and leaking energon.
“Oh.”
Breakdown grabbed his blaster and Bee assumed the worst.
“Are you going to put me out of my misery?”
“What? No. I put it to a different setting that would weld your wound together. Now, it's not going to be pretty. But it'll get the job done til you can get an actual medic to fix it.”
He aimed the modified blaster down to Bee's side, grabbing a piece of metal and then starting to weld it onto Bee to close up the wound.
It hurt of course, the welding did, but not as much as the actual wound. Sooner or later, Breakdown finished the welding. When Bee looked up at the con, there were tear stains that went from his optics and down his cheeks. Bee raised his servo and held one of Breakdown’s cheeks.
“I thought…I thought you were gonna die.”
The tears came back, falling down his cheeks once more. Bee rubbed his cheek with his thumb.
Breakdown raised his own servo to hold it over Bee’s.
“I thought I was going to lose you forever.”
“I almost thought I was dead too.”
Bee weakly chuckled.
Breakdown chuckled too.
“Not funny.”
“You seemed to think it was.”
“Shush.”
Breakdown said, before picking Bee up in his arms. He started walking in the direction of autobot territory.
“Let's get you back home.”
