    On some nights it was easier for Verso to shut out the guilt of all his past and future transgressions. Sometimes he could endure it in silence, fixing his gaze on the distant Monolith, while clinging to his purpose with the last of his strength.

    There were nights, when the burden grew unbearable, whenever Lune drew him fully into her spell. One from which there was no escape.

    And more and more often, Verso found himself asking the same question: was it Lune who could finally free him from the spiral of death… or was she the very reason he would remain trapped within it forever?
