"My favorite mellophone, have a great summer -Chrissy"
Those are the words Chrissy signed in Robin's yearbook. Robin remembers going up to ask her to sign it, she hadn't expected Chrissy to actually say yes. Much less for her to remember that Robin played mellophone. (Or that she was, apparently, Chrissy's favorite. But Chrissy's always been nice, Robin's sure she wrote something like that in everyones books. Even if Steve insists she probably didn't.)
"God, I had such a crush on her," Robin sighs, flipping back to the page of pep rally photos.
Chrissy had an arm around her in one of them. Robin's sure it was just instinct. Candace came out of nowhere while they were in the middle of a conversation and asked for a picture of them, and Chrissy pulled her in to make it look like they were friendly, or something. Of course, that hadn't stopped Robin from blushing pretty much the entire rest of the day.
"I know," Steve responds, rolling his eyes, "you only talked about her constantly."
"Shut up."
