(As we all know) Hermione Granger and Harry Potter have been friends since their first year at Hogwarts. Oh, and Ron Weasley, he was also there. The Golden Trio, they called them. The Prophet had always speculated about hidden romantic feelings among the three. And yes, Hermione did date Ron for a hot sec after the defeat of Voldemort. Everyone had been in such high spirits and it just seemed to make sense to couple up. Harry dated Ginny. Hermione dated Ron. Neither of those relationships lasted a year.
Now they were all single again. Well, actually, not all. Ron started dating Lavender Brown soon after his breakup with Hermione. And Ginny had her on-again off-again very-hot situationship with Blaise Zabini.
But Hermione and Harry were single. Painfully… single.
And also, they were the BEST of friends. JUST friends. Of course, that’s all they were.
