The Future Only Deities Know

Summary:

Midoriya Izuku has wanted to be a hero all his life, but his lack of quirk prevents him from doing so... Conventionally, at least.

With the help of his childhood friend, Eraserhead, and Detective Tsukauchi, they'll show the world what it really means to be a hero!

For those who are new, welcome!! This is a rewrite of The Messenger, a fic I wrote apparently a long time ago even though it just seemed like yesterday,,,,,,,

For those who are returning, it's nice to see you again!!!! :D

Some (a lot) things will be different, but there's changes to the core concepts that are vastly different than version 1.0, so no need to refresh your memory on the lore!!!

(kdjshfaksd guys it's so different i'm being serious lmao)

obviously some things are the same-- Nanako's quirk, for example-- and there are many differences.... since it's based off of something i wrote before, i had a hard time figuring out what i revealed and what i didn't yet kjadhf;aksjdfh so if there's anything i don't explain properly in this version, don't hesitate to leave a comment!!

(asdkljhfaklds i have 3 midterms in a row and i spent 9 hrs in the library over the course of two days im so done 😭😭😭)

My name is Akimoto Yuzuki, and I am contacting you on behalf of my daughter. I believe that she has been conversing with your son on that online game they are playing, and she managed to get a hold of your email address. While I was able to catch her before she did anything to scare you, I fear that she might find a way to contact you nonetheless.

While we’re still trying to teach her right and wrong, I did not think hacking was on the list of things we needed to be wary of.

Once again, my apologies. We’ll make sure to lecture her properly on internet safety.
