    Ilya hadn't meant to let Kent get to him last night. He’s used to having insults thrown his way by his opponents; of course he is. It's just part of the game. Some words are more hurtful than others – digs at his Russian heritage or comments about his mother – but Ilya has grown a thick skin over the years. He knows better than to let them rattle him. 

    Except Kent hadn't just insulted him, he'd insulted Hollander. And Ilya is afraid to consider why that was the thing to set him off.
