They were walking along an empty trail. Kagami picked up almost every rock, leaf, and feather along the trail.
“Kagami?”
She looked up from the ground. Felix was standing above her.
“You're going to run out of room in your bag.” He lightly touched her shoulder. Her entire body tensed. Her mind was screaming at her to move, to defend herself, to defend her stuff.
Felix lifted his hand from her shoulder. “Kagami, are you okay?” Kagami stood up brushing the dirt off her skirt.
“I'm fine. What would make you think otherwise” Kagami moved erratically, her movements jittery. In complete honesty, she looked like Marinette.
Felix tried to move on from that.
