Summary
Tony’s anger stutters to a halt, falls away. He’s the toxic one. He’s the worst son that ever lived. An animal. The familiar veil of shame comes down quickly and with it the last vestiges of control he has over himself evaporates. A sound comes out of him; a long, low wail like something gravely wounded and he backs away from her, presses his hand over his mouth. Melfi takes a step towards him with her own hand held out but doesn’t touch him.
