    The MLH's matches Omega MLH players with MLH Alphas who are available to support them through their scheduled twice-yearly heat. An Alpha's only qualification for the program is that they be single. Any Alpha can volunteer. However, MLH has strict rules about matches. Alphas must be on the same team as Omegas; only rare and emergent cases can receive exemptions.

    Shane Hollander is one of the few Omega MLH players, and before he was even drafted, he had the (un)fortunate opportunity of meeting a player he respected, Ilya Rozanov. Rozanov is not only a scent match, but easily convinced Hollander to start a secret "affair" that is absolutely against MLH rules.

    If it is found out that Hollander and Rozanov have secretly been meeting outside of Hollander's heat, their careers will be in jeopardy.
