Summary
He knows he’s in trouble the second Robby tells him Samira is switching to nights for two weeks. Two weeks as her attending, signing off on her orders, watching her across central as she cares for patients. Two weeks telling himself he thinks about her in a healthy, normal way. That every attending feels a certain amount of devotion to their residents.
Abbot keeps his head clear for the better part of eight days.
