"It only hurts a djinn but its fatal to her" zane's voice called out as the ninja realised the tiger widow venom had struck nya.
Jay held her, worry in his eyes.
"Only one wish jay, what a dilemma.. wish me mortal and she dies, wish her well... and theres no stopping me" nadakhan said through his pain, he knew he was winning.
"You have to make your last wish, your the only one who can stop him..." nya spoke quietly, the venom making her weaker by the seccond.
"No not if it means loosing you!" Jay said to her, tears filling his eyes and dread filling his heart.
Nya smiled, "i never wanted to be part of your boys club anyway"
Jay and the rest of the ninja shook their heads, refusing to accept what was about to happen.
"Guess its true... the greatest love stories do always end in tragedy..." and with that nya went limp.
Suddenly jay shot up, his lightning blue eyes opened, full of tears and his breath shaky.
He looked around the room and saw that he was in bed not in djinnjago.
He immediately turned to where nya was laying, he had to make sure she was alive.
"Nya..? Nya wake up!" He said with worry, shaking her until she woke.
"Jay.. whats wrong?" She turned to him, her eyes struggling to open from tiredness.
When she heard him sigh with relief she sat up knowing what had just happened.
"Hey its ok jay, im ok, were safe" she reached over and wiped the tears from his cheek.
He smiled at her, grateful that it was just a dream.
He gets dreams like this all the time, memories of that erased timeline, a constant reminder that it really did happen.
"I keep watching you die, over and over again.." he spoke with saddnes, looking into nya's pale blue eyes.
She pulled him into a hug and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.
"I know, but its ok im still here, and im not going anywhere." She whispered to him, they led back down and she began to play with his hair.
After a few minutes of laying like this, their eyelids began to feel heavy. Once she confirmed jay was sleeping she snuggled up nexto him and watched him.
She hoped that that was the only nightmare of the night.
Nya also got nightmares, usually of herself dying, or of jay being taken when the bridge fell.
Jays nightmares were worse, he had told her everything that happened to him from the chores all the way to the touching in the bedroom.
She had cried when he told her, and she had felt it was her fault since she and the others sent him in the cave alone knowing nadakhan could come at any moment.
However jay insisted that it was his fault only, for lying, he deserved it is what jay had said.
She gave him another peck on the cheek and
let herself fall back to sleep, still holding onto jay.
