Chapter Text
A couple weeks ago Jason had started researching the connections between several missing children cases he suspected it was part of a larger sex trafficking ring but he couldn’t be sure. This location was the first break he’s had in this case and from how large and remote the building was he suspected it was some type of main base.
Jason scanned the building looking for the easiest way in and ended up going through one of the back windows. Once he got in he was surprised to find it looked like a lab of some sort the entire building was a maze of storage rooms, medical facilities and odd machines he hadn’t seen anywhere else. He was even more surprised to find an elevator hidden in the back of a smaller room considering the building was only one floor from the outside.
he got off the elevator at the next floor down and had to duck into a small room to the right because the floor was swarming with guards. It was difficult sneaking around them but he to investigate enough rooms to surmise that this floor is where they kept the ammunition as well as some more labs that were definitely more active than the ones upstairs. As he snuck out of one of these labs…
“HEY!”
“Shit” Jason said under his breath before running down the opposing hallway to avoid the guards that were now shooting at him. The alarms started going off as he reached a very large room with more machines. Six guards caught up to him all the ones that were on the floor before but he suspected back up is not far away.
Just as he was shooting the last of the six guards he heard a sound coming from the opposite end of the room and saw a….snake? Jason looked on in shock as the already large green snake began to grow until it was much taller than him. Only when it stopped growing did it attack him, he dove towards one of the guards and grabbed the taser from his belt hitting the snake in the side of the head with it when it next attacked him. The snake recoiled for a few moments becoming a bit smaller before shaking the last of the electricity out returning to size and attacking again. This time Jason was prepared he managed to get underneath the snake and used two tasers at the highest setting on its neck.
This time the snake shrunk fully but after it had reached its original size it started morphing until Jason was looking down at a little girl. She was wearing a hospital gown and a chunky white collar on her neck her hair was long, black and she was still shaking from the taser.
“Fuck” Jason said after a few seconds not only because of the girl but because of the sound of more guards down the hallway.
Without a second thought he blew a hole in the ceiling scooped up the half asleep kid and used his grappling hook to get to the first floor. He was struggling to hold on to the girl especially when she bit him in the arm, luckily this seemed to use up the last of her energy and she passed out just before they reached his car.
