Summary
After the collapse of his relationship and professional life, Daniel Wilson needs a break from it all. Driving north at Christmas to a rural escape, he crashes his car in a snowstorm and wakes in an isolated cabin in the woods in the care of Galen Laroque, a lonely widower recovering from the loss of his young wife, Amber. Worse, the bump Daniel took to his head in the crash seems to have affected him in unexpected ways, as Daniel finds himself slowly becoming Trapped in Amber.
