    Will and Mike always planned on going to the same college, and being roommates. But after their graduation, they hardly spoke to each other. Until one day, they have a fight. About Wills painting, Mike ends the argument before he can even begin to understand what Will must've been trying to say. That he loved him- that this painting was not an expression from El, his sister, but instead from Will himself.

    Now we have a problem- They haven't talked to each other in around a year or two. They hardly ever see each other. Both Mike and Will grew apart, Mike now has a job as a short story writer. Usually it's just people on campus, commissioning stories for their partners or friends. But hey, it counts, right? Will has a new waiter/bartender Job at a gay club called "The Jester". Though his boss is consistently rude, he finds comfort in going there at night. He can make friends without them truly knowing who he is, he can be present and vulnerable about who he is without them ever knowing about his actual identity.

    Till one night, on a night where Will just needs to relax, Mike gets forced to The Jester by his "friends".
