Summary
The future of humanity is standing on the edge of a knife. A deadly smog has covered the world, and major corporations are starting wars for resources.
Project Aleph emerged to give humans secondary sexes. It is a second chance at becoming something superior. Something they called alphas.
Its sole purpose was to ensure the survival of humanity.
...Or so they say.
Project Aleph sounded appealing to Michael Kaiser. They promised unparalleled human capabilities never seen before, and what was he but a man with drive and ambition?
Isagi was his assigned doctor. When Kaiser presented as an alpha and killed an entire squad of specialized agents, it became his responsibility to reign in the monster Project Aleph had created.
In a dystopian world where corporations policed thought and behavior as closely as they did crime, it was impossible to survive alone. Kaiser needed him as an anchor, a source of solace through the delirium and instinctual haze, while Isagi needed him as a means to further his research.
Symbiosis was inevitable.
