If Will was being completely honest he thought this trip to the mall was useless, apparently Mike had lied to El and Lucas had the bright idea to get her a gift as an apology instead of just apologizing and actually admitting that you lied but no matter how much Will tried bringing that up its like it went through one ear and out the other. Will wasn't listening to anything they said as he looked around while walking with the boys.
Will eventually just gave up walking with Lucas and Mike and just stood there watching as Mike and Lucas walked off not realizing Will had left. Will felt a pang of hurt watching them go without even bothering to notice him; he felt sad and betrayed. Will sighed and walked into the opposite direction “y’know fuck them, all they care about are their girlfriends its always Max this, El that like have you can be a friend without always mentioning your girlfriends genuinely fuck them!’ Will muttered while he walked away.
Unbeknownst to him El and Max had walked out of a toy store after El wanted a stuffed bear. The girls walked not realizing who or what was infront of them and they knocked right into someone “Hey watch it-” Max said before looking up at the person they ran into “Will? What are you doing?”
Will looked up “Max, El?” Will paused Of course he cant rat out Mike and Lucas to their Girlfriends of course he did just curse them out but that doesn't mean that- “Mike and Lucas dragged me here to get a” Will put his hands up for airquotes “”Apology gift”” Will clearly didn't like the idea of an apology gift. “Shouldn't you be helping them?” El asked curiosity, dripping her tone. “Why should I? They completely ignored me. I bet they haven't even realized I left.” Will Said as he helped Max - who looked outraged - and El - who looked like she wanted to hug Will - up.
“Those bastards first they are dicks to El now you?” Max said, pissed at the two boys. “Would you like to hang out with us?” El asked hesitantly. Will hesitated looking between the girls who both looked excited before nodding “Uh yeah if that's okay” Both Max and El nodded excitedly “You both need to learn how beautiful like is without Mike Wheeler” Max says wrapping her arms around Will and El while Saying Mike’s name as if it was a disgusting creature which made Will and El burst out in laughter.
The first stop they went to was The GAP to obviously get new clothes because - as Max stated - they really needed a new style. Of course Will was against Max spending her money on him but they convinced him with puppy dog eyes. “No- Are you seriously-” Will sighs “fine” he says playfully rolling his eyes as El and Max cheer.
Will picked out a long-sleeved shirt under a short sleeved shirt and jeans with platform boots while El took a bit until she found a sweater with a cat on it and gray/dark blue skirt with Black shoes and white leg warmers. Eventually El and Will got Max to get clothes, she got a white Beanie, black tank top with a black and white plaid jacket and jeans with fishnets under with Converse that she wrote “MADMAX” onto after she paid for all the clothes.
They proceeded to go to a different store for accessories. Will got Chained necklaces and spikey jewelry with fishnet gloves. El got red hair clips, White fingerless gloves with a little bow and a brown bag. Max got Black fingerless gloves that had a skeleton hand, some necklaces, and rings.
They stopped infront of a hair salon before walking in. El and Max already liked their hair so while Will was getting his hair cut Max braided El’s. When Will walked out with El and Max he had a bit of a shaggy wolfcut that went to the end of the neck and El had her hair braided in a French braid. Max kept ruffling Will's hair as he swatted her hand away laughing.
They stopped before the piercing salon, both El and Will were a bit scared as they had never had a piercing before but Max kept comforting them. They chose piercings for their ears. El had chosen a bow and strawberry piercing, Will chose a chunky earring that was attached to a different one with a chain, then finally Max chose three spiky earrings. It hurt less than the two expected and was quick.
Finally they did their makeup. Will got a gothic type look like the bands he likes, El got a cute makeup style with White eyeshadow and pink lipstick and Max got eyeliner around the eyes and black eyeshadow.
