   Summary

   The ground is cold, and his entire body aches. The wood creaks in sympathy, painfully audible in the entirely too empty space. It is the most quiet he has had in an age, the most time spent completely within himself with no exterior influence.

   Even the furthest reaches of the universe held more noise– the heavy hits and final wishes, accompanied by strained breaths– life rising and falling.
