Work Text:

The earth was heavy with rain, he felt odd. He was sweating, his body felt hot despite the weather, a headache, ah. Fuck he was sick wasnt he? and it made sense. His world was always pouring– being drenched and cold lowered peoples immune system.

curse this world, his body felt heavy, he was at his weakest at this point. At any moment he could get killed, that wasnt good. He dragged himself towards the basement. Plugging the trap door with a dirt block just incase. He kept his pickaxe close, he felt dizzy just climbing down. Maybe he should exercise more rather than arguing with entities..

He’d walk to his bed, forcing his body to move and lay down. He felt uncomfortable, the sweat making his sheets stick to his skin, the way the room felt like it was spinning, his skin being so.. warm. he couldnt move. his body felt like meat- disgusting.

he spent a few moments like that, starring at the celling. The rational part of his brain wanting to get up and get water, the irrational part wanted him to lay down, just think and rest. he laid on his side, sweat and drops of red dripping onto his mattress. He paused, touching his nose.

his nose was bleeding, great. That totally making the situation better, washing this out was gonna be a pain. Suddenly he heard dirt breaking. He jolted- keeping slient and looking at the trap door. He Saw a yellow figure climbing down- he rolled off the bed, hiding under the tiny gap. it was cramped– bits of dust sticking to his shirt.

yellow boots walked across the stone floor, stiff. Unhuman, that confirmed his suspicons. The figure Sat ontop of his bed, causing collin to huff a bit, crap. he placed a hand over his mouth, his breath slowing as the dopperganger checked out the noise. Peeking its head under the frame.

“W hat ar you doing down the re.” It’d say, copying his expression- crouching down. Jeez he seriously looked that pathetic right now? He’d pause replying. "Because I’m hiding obviously.” The clone paused, laying its body down– fuck nope, hell no. "Do not lay beside me right now.” And thankfully the clone did stop.Collin slowly climbed out of the bed, his movements slow- hazy. Sitting on the mattress which was soaked with sweat, colinlock19 was confused, why did the other look so.. weird-sickly even? Was this a new part of his clone. Did it seriously have to start all over again?
“Don’t argue with me right now..” Collin murmured

" w h y do you look lik that?” It’s question, shifting his posture to hunch over, just like Collin. ( Collin’s face scrunched in disgust) , not bothering to respond.

He’d lay on the bed. Sweat dripping "id kill for a cup of water rightnow z.” he’d mumur, the clone paused– climbing up the ladder, good it was leaving him alone! Or So he thought.

After a Few minutes, the clone returned with a water bucket and a small cup , Collin barely processed it before hearing a loud CLANG on the floor, the water thankfully not spilling— Collin instinctfully sat up, his heart quickening.there was a moment of slience.

Colinlock19 sat still, as if waiting for Collin to make a action. And So he did , the cogs turned in his brain ( and a bit of doubt, was he seriously relying on his clone and a ENTITY?) "..could you get a rag and dip it in water.” He’d pause, adding on “Thanks.” For some reason.

The entity paused– climbing back outside. it.. worked? Collin grabbed the water bucket, placing it Near his bed side while trying to not make noise..
The clone returned , a small blue rag, dipping it in the water bucket. It’d mess around with it, feeling the new texture and feeling, it was heavy. Collin grabbed the rag, rubbing it on the cervices on his body.

the clone tilted its head, Confused yet interested. " wwwet? Its cold?” It was confused. Collin paused, replying. “Its something to Help with the fever.” He’d answer.

Colin nodded, understanding. the orginal paused, blinking before saying— "Thanks, Collin.”
