Candy vs Kisses

Summary:

Namjoon has been too busy to even think about Seokjin and when he's tired Namjoon would eat candy. It was the only way to help him relax, but Seokjin has had enough. So he decides to show him another way to help him relax, something sweeter than candy.

Work Text:

To say he was obsessed was an overstatement. Namjoon would consume all kinds of candy whenever he had the chance, but that was only because it would calm him down—made him feel relaxed and at ease. Whatever it was, the sweetness, hardness and chewiness he loved the feeling.

So it wasn’t a surprise when Seokjin decided they all go to the buy groceries, for they had been eating nothing but packed ramen.

“You’re cooking?” Yoongi questions, receiving an eye roll and nod from the other before heading towards his shared room to get dressed.

Hoseok and Taehyung jumped in excitement. Lately they’ve been too busy to even go out as a whole so hearing this from the oldest got them full of joy. Jeongguk smiled at the overly excited hyungs before joining them and Jimin went to rush Yoongi out.

Seokjin shakes his head at the youngsters before running slowly to his room he shared with Namjoon. Before he had the chance to inform Namjoon about their plans he noticed Namjoon was already dressed and ready to go.

“I’ve run out of candy.” He quietly motions to the empty bag lying beside his pillow.

Seokjin shakes his head, “Namjoon, we’re only buying food. No more candy.” He strictly says, a bit motherly like, as he closes the door annoyed.

The truth was he was more than annoyed with Namjoon. Seokjin felt like he’s slowly been fading away from Namjoon because of the obsession with candy. He loves Namjoon and only wishes happiness among him, but he also wants to be a part of that happiness and to think candy would be the one getting in between the two.

Namjoon is too oblivious to notice. He’s been so busy that most of the times he’d end up sleeping down at the recording studio. Just like Namjoon’s obsession with candy, Seokjin’s obsession is Namjoon.

After the short wait for both Jimin and Yoongi, they all rushed out to the rarely used car their manager decided to get. Seokjin behind the wheel, Namjoon beside him, the three youngest in the far back with Yoongi and Hoseok in front of them to keep an eye.

“Hyung, can we buy snacks?” Jeongguk pleaded. Taehyung agreed waiting for an answer.

Seokjin sighs, noticing Namjoon was also nodding his head in agreement. “As long as you don’t buy any candy.” He informs, parking the car carefully.

“Yes, sir.” Taehyung and Jeongguk answer playfully. Jimin smiling at the two idiots beside him. “Thank you hyung!” Was the last thing they shouted before running into the store without another trace.

“Ya!” Seokjin shouted.

Yoongi shook his head grabbing Hoseok by the arm as he dragged him along to find the others. “We’ll keep watch of those idiots. Go ahead and buy the things you need.” Jimin laughs before following Yoongi from behind.

Namjoon turns to look at Seokjin who was, by his surprise, already staring at him long before. Seokjin pouts his lips, looking at the other with pure innocence. “What?” Namjoon questions, confused. “Did you want me to go with Yoongi and—”

The other stomps his foot childishly without speaking a word. “Alright, I’ll go—”

“Ah, Namjoon you idiot.” Seokjin retorts leaving the other behind.

Namjoon watches his boyfriend leave him behind with confusion written all over his face. He wasn’t sure what Seokjin wanted but whatever the case, Seokjin was annoyed once again. He ran a hand through his blond hair trying to figure out what he did wrong.

Was it something I said? Namjoon questions himself. It has been five minutes and Seokjin has been ignoring him, acting like he wasn’t even there beside him. “Jinnie, please tell me what I did wrong.”

Seokjin gave him a cold stare. Obviously, whatever Namjoon did to make Seokjin give him a face like that, he regrets. Seokjin isn’t the type to give the cold shoulder to anyone unless they did something horribly wrong. He was just too sweet to be that kind of person. He cared too much about the way others feel. In his world, others came first before himself.

Namjoon sighed in defeat. “I’ll go look for the others.”

Seokjin quickly turns to look at him. This time his gaze was well modulated and soft. Namjoon, however, was already walking away to look for Yoongi and the others.

He slumps his shoulders. Okay, maybe he went overboard with the ignoring and cold stares, but he just wanted Namjoon to get a taste of how he’s been making him feel. Although, if he was being honest, Seokjin has been feeling like they weren’t even a couple anymore. Call him crazy, but he truly blamed it all on the candy.

“Hyung, Namjoon just bought some candy.” Hoseok shrugs, “Yoongi told him not to but he wouldn’t listen to any of our pestering.”

Seokjin smiles, nodding his head on the outside, but in the inside he was truly pissed off. What part of ‘No candy’ did his oblivious boyfriend not understand?! Seokjin walks towards the rest of the group a smile still visible.

Yoongi eyes him carefully knowing full well his hyung was losing it. “Where is he?” He questions lowly, taking his card out and handing it to Yoongi.

“He went outside.” They all answer in unison.

Seokjin tells Yoongi to pay for the stuff and heads outside to look for Namjoon. He wasn’t surprised to see Namjoon already stuffing his mouth with a lollipop, but he sure as hell wasn’t pleased to see him doing so.

Seokjin stomped his way towards Namjoon taking the lolli from his mouth. “I told you no more candy, Namjoon.”

Namjoon tries reaching for the candy but Seokjin slaps his hand away. “Come on, Jinnie. It’s just one lollipop.” He smiles showing his deep dimples, knowing full well how weak that smile makes Seokjin feel.

Seokjin shakes his head, brows furrowed. “Why do you want to eat candy so much?”

“It’s the only thing that makes me feel relaxed, hyung,” Namjoon answers.

Seokjin’s eyelids fall low, bottom lip quivering, barely noticeable. “The only thing?..” He repeats, gaze on the concrete floor.

Namjoon nods slowly, speaking quietly, “Hyung, I’ll stop with all the candy eating as soon as we get home. People are staring, let’s talk about this at home.”

Seokjin scoffs, “There is nothing to talk about, Namjoon.” He shoves the candy towards Namjoon as soon as he sees the others walking out the market. He helps Yoongi carry the groceries into the car.

The atmosphere in the car was awkward. Seokjin was angry, it was obvious. He yelled at the youngsters for being loud, shouted at Jimin for trying to argue, and when Namjoon tried to calm him down he lost it. Luckily by the time that happened they had already arrived home so when Namjoon questioned him about it he quickly got out the car, slamming the door shut behind him, and stormed off into the building.

The others stayed quiet, looking at one another, well, mostly at Namjoon. Namjoon avoided all five pairs of eyes staring at him. To be completely honest, Namjoon wasn’t sure himself what was going on. He thought his relationship with Seokjin was doing just fine.

“Good luck.” Yoongi smirks.

Namjoon rolls his eyes, “Get the bags out and bring them inside.” The others nod as they watch Namjoon walk into the building.

Namjoon wasn’t sure what to say once he entered the building. Seokjin was in their room sitting on the edge of the bed before he hears the front door close. He quickly stands up, about to open their room door until Namjoon begins to slowly open it.

He notices the upset Seokjin staring back at him, standing awkwardly. Namjoon closes the door after he enters, going to sit on the bed. He pulls Seokjin by the arm gently, letting the older boy fall beside him.

“Joonie,” Seokjin starts, giving Namjoon no chance whatsoever to speak. “Tell me..”

The other furrows his brows, a questioning expression on his face. The expression soon began fading when Seokjin decides to climb onto his lap, looking at his boyfriend with a pout, lips glossy and kissable.

“Is candy really the only thing that relaxes you?”

Namjoon bites his lip, watching Seokjin as he leans closer. “Joonie,” Seokjin whispers into his ear, breath running smoothly along his skin, “I can show you another way to feel relaxed, yeah?” The sudden touch of his lips pressing wet kisses on his neck made Namjoon tense.

How long has it been since they had sex? Namjoon could feel his jeans tighten around his crotch, hands holding Seokjin’s waist lightly. Seokjin leaves a trail of kisses around his neck before pulling away to kiss Namjoon’s plump, pink lips.

Namjoon, without hesitation, moves his lips in sync with his boyfriend’s. Tongue brushing the bottom of the others ‘god made’ lips, asking for more. Seokjin quickly parts his mouth allowing him in, their tongues touching and both men losing breath rather quickly.

Seokjin wraps his hands around the others neck, hands playing with his hair lightly, while Namjoon tightens his grip on Seokjin’s waist, bringing him as close as possible. Namjoon pulls away, catching breath when Seokjin suddenly begins to grind on the other.

“Holy shit,” Namjoon murmurs, his lips parting letting little breaths escape.

Seokjin grips onto Namjoon’s shoulders tightly, pleasuring himself along with the other. “Does it feel good, Namjoon?” He questions after controlling his breath. He looks Namjoon in the eyes, round and dolled, looking so innocent and pure.

Namjoon wanted to tear him apart, he wanted to fuck him so hard. How could he have been stupid enough to ever make Seokjin feel the way he did earlier? Namjoon holds Seokjin tight and quickly switches positions, the other on his back as Namjoon crawls over him.

He smiles sweetly at his boyfriend, lifting the end of his shirt. Seokjin lifts his body from the bed just enough to let Namjoon slide his shirt off, tossing it aside. “So beautiful, Princess.” Namjoon whispers, licking the already hardened nipples earning a moan from the other.

He proceeds to admiring every inch of Seokjin’s torso planting small kisses across his smooth skin. Namjoon could feel the Seokjin’s hard on and he quietly chuckles to himself. Seokjin looks at him with lust and want when Namjoon begins palming him.

He continues to palm him against the fabric over his crotch and leans down to leave a red, purple mark on his collarbone, claiming Seokjin. Although one mark just wasn’t enough. Namjoon leaves three more. Two on either side of Seokjin’s neck and the other near the ear. At this point, Seokjin was letting little moans escape his mouth. Thighs tight around Namjoon, bringing him close.

“Namjoon..ah, please,” He begs, thrusting his hips to the rhythm of Namjoon’s palm.

“Don’t even think about it.”

Namjoon and Seokjin both look towards the door in shock. Namjoon quickly climbs off his boyfriend, biting his bottom lip from embarrassment. Seokjin’s cheeks go crimson when he looks at the other members awkwardly standing around Yoongi.

“Look, we’re all starving here. You can fuck some other time so please make us something to eat,” Yoongi says.

“Hyung,” Taehyung calls to Namjoon, “is this what you two always do when you go and talk ?”

“Get out.” Namjoon says when the three youngest began laughing and acting childish. “Also, there’s something called knocking, Yoongi.”

He shrugs before they all leave the two lovebirds alone again. Seokjin smiles shyly at his boyfriend sliding his shirt back on. “Namjoon,” he speaks until Namjoon hugs him tightly, both falling together on the bed.

“I love you so much, Princess.” He smiles, planting kisses all over the others face. “Kissing you is much sweeter than any candy I’ve ever eaten.”
