"Hello, class!" Celine claps, getting the class's attention. They have been her class for years. She has watched this class grow up from when they were eleven years old. Now, they're seventeen, most of them turning eighteen this year. Some of her students will probably leave New Ninjago City, some will start university and others will either go into apprenticeships or start their gap year. "As this is your final year at high school, we have decided to make your last year...slightly more eventful,"
[Name] [Last Name] perks up slightly, sitting up in her seat. Eventful? That seems fun. Elena Sallow, who has been [Name]’s best friend since their first year, rolls her grey eyes.
Could anything be more eventful than the Green Ninja and the rest of the ninja team saving the day? No…not really.
"I am sure some of you have online friends," Celine continues. "And if you have any in America, I am sure they have heard of this," Celine presses the remote, letting a slide be shown up on the screen.
"The baby project?" [Name] mumbles, reading the screen through her glasses.
"Why?" Elena whispers, making a face as she sits in her seat. "Why?"
[Name] laughs, nudging her friend in the side. It won’t be that bad.
"I have already assigned your partners so don't even think about pairing up with people," Celine states, looking around at her class. Everyone groans, Elena slumping in seat as [Name] pats her back with a smile. "When I call up you and your partner's name, come up from your seats and you can collect your baby,"
"We don’t even get to choose?" Cole questions, making a face.
"There’s only thirty of us in the class so I doubt it’ll be hard," Kai comments.
"Yeah, but you're on the basketball team," Nya states, turning her head silently so that she can talk to her brother and her friends. "Everyone loves you,"
"That’s debatable," Kai makes a face. Lloyd and Nya look at each other whilst Jay and Cole do the same. Zane blinks, missing the social cue. But that’s okay. We still love Zane. "No, it’s not! I’m pretty awesome,"
"Oh, brother," Nya mutters, the rest of them laughing.
Lloyd looks over to [Name], who is rocking Elena back and forth. Lloyd has a crush on the daughter of the Mayor. A big crush. A huge one even. He has for a while. If you can even call two years a while.
The crush started because [Name] [Last Name] is a nice person. She helped him with directions to a room in their first year and he’s been in love with her ever since.
"First pair, Nya and Jay!" The couple look at each with smug looks on their faces. Are they even surprised? Of course, they'd get picked together. When did they not? The two of them are forces to be reckoned with.
Jay gets up, letting Nya go in front of him as he walks behind her. They make it to the front of the class, Celine smiling at the couple.
"You have twins!" the teacher smiles, getting two robotic babies from the box behind her desk. She hands one to Jay before handing one to Nya. The two seventeen year olds look at each other, like they're going to burst out laughing. And they might. Them dating for three to almost four years has never made them think about having kids. Ever. But this experience might just change their minds. "One's a boy, one's a girl. I'm pretty sure you can decipher who is who. You'll get two pacifiers and two ipads which connect towards your babies which can help you log what your baby is doing day to day," Celine says to the two before turning to the class. "There's an app which connects me to all your babies! So if your baby isn't feeling good, happy or at least content, then I will know you! And I will make you fail! Fair?"
"How is that fair?!" Elena whispers, looking at [Name] in slight horror.
"She just wants to be really hard on us because she loves us so much," [Name] nods, pursing her lips. Elena’s eye twitches before letting out a frustrated sound. This is the worst thing that could possibly ever happen. Ever!
But the rest of the class murmur in agreement. Celine is the type of teacher you would want on your side at all times. You would never want her on your bad side.
"All right then, let me continue!"

"And now we're down to the last four..." Celine mutters. She looks out towards [Name], Lloyd, Cole and Nicholas.
Elena was paired with Nicholas’ best friend. Mattias Scott.
[Name] doesn't care who she's with. She just wants to have fun and maybe bond with someone new.
But that would mean she probably shouldn’t get Nicholas. Him being captain of the basketball team and her being captain of the cheer team makes their high school lives intertwine. Since this is their first and last year of being captain of their respected sports, they will win challengers. Challengers is a basketball and cheerleading tournament which lasts for three days. Well, technically two days since the first day is just a settling in day.
But it will be fine. Because they will win this time. The last time Ninjago High won was…well, when [Name]’s mother was a cheerleader there. But that was a while ago. And Mariana passed away from an unknown disease a year ago so…
"Cole and Nicholas, come and collect your daughter!" Celine smiles, making Cole’s face completely drop. Zane watches his friend, holding his robot baby. Which is kind off ironic, since he is well a robot. He was paired up with Pixal.
"Whatever," Nicholas mumbles, sliding out of his seat and holding the robot baby in his arms. Nicholas will never admit this to anyone, but he really wants to have kids. Cole walks over to Nicholas with a slight slouch in his walk. You could say they have a slight history with one another.
"What do you want to name him?" Cole asks him.
"Well, he's ugly. like you," Nicholas says with no emotion, making a tick come at the side of Cole’s forehead. He can be calm. He can do this. "Let's call him..." Nicholas inspects the baby with his dark brown eyes. How much money did they put into this? Doesn’t most of the funding go into housing and the homeless? Where did they get this money from? This baby actually looks like a mix of them both. Black hair, light brown blue eyes, a beauty spot on the left check. "Jouquin," he says, his Spanish accent slipping.
"That's...actually not that bad," Cole says as Nicholas hands him the baby.
"And last but not least," Celine smiles, [Name] walking over to her teacher, Lloyd at her side. The blond gives [Name] a shy glance and she smiles at him. His cheeks go warm slightly as he turns away. "Lloyd and [Name]. Come and meet your baby girl,"
Lloyd holds the baby in his arms. He has never thought about kids. Being the destined saviour of the world does not really give him a chance to think outside of that future. But…having kids would be nice?
[Name] adores children. She adores them! She always smiles at them when she sees them on the street.
"Aw," she smiles, peeking over at the robot baby. Blonde hair, green eyes and her skin colour. Wow, did her genes even try? "She has your eyes, Lloyd. It's actually kind off creepy,"
The two of them laugh together, Lloyd looking down at the robot baby.
"And your hair too," The pink loving girl states, taking the baby from him. "At least she’s wearing her mommy’s colour," [Name] holds the baby upwards, the robot baby letting out a giggle. [Name] almost squeals in joy. That was so cute! "What do you want to name her, Lloyd?"
Lloyd hums, pursing his lips.
"How about Alina?"
[Name] smiles at him, looking over to the baby.
"It’s perfect," she rubs her nose against the baby’s, not knowing the meaning behind the name. "Welcome to the world, little baby Alina,"
