He felt lightheaded, but he needed to make sure.
“We?” He asked, clearing his throat.
As Rose’s hand tightened on his arm, Shane risked glancing up at her. Her eyes were full of sorrow, and he knew.
“Yeah,” Rose breathed. “Me, Sveta, and Ilya.”

Shane Hollander's life is turned upside down when he is informed his high school ex, who is now a Hollywood-famous actor, is back in town. However, that on its own shouldn't really affect him. After all, Ottawa is a big city, and Shane has been avoiding all their known spots like the plague. But, he didn't manage to count on a new, unforeseeable factor: Ilya didn't come back in town in a misguided attempt of chasing nostalgia. He has more on his plate than fame and unresolved feelings for Shane, and that's exactly what brings them back together.
