Charlie was rummaging in his school drawer when Nick approached. Charlie chose to ignore him and just carried on doing exactly that.
“Charlie, listen …”
“Yeah, yeah, I know,” Charlie cut him off. He absolutely had to get over this silly straight-boy crush. “You saw me run in PE and realised I’m really fast and now you want me to join the rugby team. Fat chance.”
“Well, actually, I wanted to say that - that I’m bisexual, and I’m in love with you. Do you wanna go out with me? I want to be with you forever!”
“Fuck my life,” Charlie smiled.
