    Gallagher was dead, his neck mangled, his red eyes lifeless and dull. His lips were parted, fear corroding his face.

    Sunday sobbed, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,” until his throat was sore and the cold tiles under him became warm. “I didn’t mean to, I didn’t, I swear.”

    Father Sunday catches a fever, and it’s incredibly nauseating.
    A surreal Gallagher, a mere product of his imagination, mocks and spits vitriol on him.

    Between an overwhelming surge of emotions and ludicrous surrealism, Sunday ends up digesting his partner’s heart.
    He believes it’s a punishment for breaking his vows and loving a man.
    But it turns out it’s only a treacherous fever.
