Summary
After the chaos of the tourney, Prince Daeron Targaryen faces the aftermath of bloodshed and injury. Searching for Egg, he finds Ser Duncan gravely wounded by the elm tree — and is forced to confront his own guilt.
"His heart ached seeing the knight like this. Daeron did not know much of honour, didn't possess much of it himself, but he recognised it when he saw it.
