I’m ready for my closeup
Crosshair was slouched on the small sofa in the room.
Waiting. Impatiently so.
Nude, as on the day he was decanted with only a large bow tied around his waist and the toothpick in place, naturally.
“How, long?”
“Soon Crosshair, the Maestro will be here soon enough.”
“Maestro?” Crosshair let out a low chuckle . “First I heard of it. Maestro.”
“Well, he has become pretty serious about this very endeavour. The task at hand and having practiced his trade for a while now, the name seemed… apt.”
“I guess so.”
Just then Tech arrived, dressed in civvies. With a stylish bonnet on top of his head and the holo imager in his hand.
“The Maestro, has arrived.” Omega took a bow and headed out from the room.
“Are we all set here then, Crosshair?”
“Indeed we are, Maestro.” Crosshair laughed again. It was too funny not to.
“Good, good.” Tech prowled around, adjusting the settings of his holo imager. “You keep that smile on your face. Looks good on you and will look good in the holos images too!” Tech ordered, having become rather serious of this hobby of his.
“Yes, Maestro!”
Crosshair saluted Tech. But most importantly, he was behaving as well. After all Crosshair had lost the bet fair and square and now, it was his cost of posing for the nudes. It was all to be added into the calendar with other clones posing as well and then to be sold for the benefit of the war orphans. And certainly something Crosshair needed to do. Not just to repay the bet. He had a heart after all!
“Good! Are we ready?”
“We are and I, am quite ready for my closeup, Maestro!”
The flashes went off, the holo pix were snapped.
This calendar to become a certain hit without any doubt. Lots of credits for the orphans earned from it for sure.
