   Even though Shane had been smiling the whole time, Ilya was wary because it was just so out of character.
   “Ok so, you want to get drunk? What? So you are numb? Try to forget about today?”

   Shane stops smiling and stares back at Ilya floored.
   “What? No? Forget? I want to celebrate! I came out to my parents and have a boyfriend who I love. Why would I want to be numb? I’m so incredibly happy”

   Ilya exhales in relief,
   “Oh thank God, I thought you were having a mental break. Saying you want to get drunk but really a cry for help. Like hostage situation. Blink twice if someone is forcing you to not be boring” his lips now stretched into a big smile
