Prologue
Hawkins, Indiana. Home of stranger things and mysterious deaths or disappearances. Bobby had been researching this place while being stuck in a wheelchair. Bobby knew that something bigger happened, but he couldn’t gather enough information, or rather, he couldn’t collect any information at all. Dean and Sam Winchester were both well aware of Bobby’s obsession with the ghost town of Hawkin. As time passed, Bobby eventually left the wheelchair. He had gathered up plenty of news articles. “The Boy Who Came Back to Life”, “The Fire at Starcourt Mall”, “Cheerleader Murdered By D&D Freak in Trailer Park”, “High School Boy Murdered Last Night”, “Basketball Player Dead In Lake”, “Massive Earthquake Split Hawkins in Four: Lots of Deaths and Damage” and “Military Taking Over Small Haunted Town of Hawkins”. The brothers always thought there was something worth investigating in the ruins of Hawkins, Indiana. After Bobby awoke from his coma, the brother decided to take a break from the fight against the leviathans. Castiel and Crowley have been MIA since the fiasco at Richard Roman Enterprises.
“Since we are taking a break from the battle against the leviathans, I want to go and finally check out Hawkins.”
The brothers pack up and ship out in Baby, playing Dean's usual tunes with Bobby tailing close behind. Driving towards Indiana with the Auto Shop in the rear-view mirror, the brothers and Bobby go to uncover what really took place in Hawkins, Indiana, all those years ago.
