The First Try

Summary:

On a perfect, cloudy day something very unusual happens with Izuku and his class. Teachers are here too, and now they say there are different universes? It doesn't make any sense!

Or: Izuku, class 1-A, teachers, sometimes 1-B and the villains react to my favourite fanfic.

First try: Hero Class Civil Warfare
Second try: Tea in a bar
Third try: Usawagi– Rumor Rabbit

Notes:

This is my first ever fanfic, so if my writing is shit, I'm very sorry I'm just a 14 yr old girl. Also English isn't my first language, so there's that. There are some oc's here, and this chapter is just an introduction.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Coming in

Chapter Text

Asa was scared.

Well, she wasn't "terrified" scared, just very uncomfortable. Her Creator just summoned her into their office, not Curious, not Vald, but Asa. That only ment it was something urgent or important, and that was never a good thing. As she was standing in front of a large black for, she was revising the past week in hopes of finding something she did wrong. Yes, the Creator never got mad at Asa, but they did get mad at others and she never wanted to experience that herself. Taking a deep breath, she put her hand up and knocked two times.

"Come in." A voice came from the room as the door unlocked. Asa opened it and stepped inside, taking in her surroundings. The office was very dark, if not for her vision, she wouldn't be able to make anything out. It was messy too. There were clothes and papers scattered on the floor, a thin layer of dust covered the shelves with anime figures on them. At the front of the room was a huge desk with multiple monitors on top, all glowing with white-blue light.

A figure was sitting in front of them, slouching. They were typing something on a massive keyboard. After a few moments, the suffocating silence was interrupted.

"Hello, Asa. How's work going?" The Creator asked, not looking away from the monitors. Their voice was tired, a little raspy, like static on radio.

"Um... The work is well, thank you for your concern." She answered, trying to keep her nerves under control. She just wanted it to end quickly.

"I see you're not in the mood for small talk huh. Well then let's cut to the matter at hand." The figure said, finally turning away to face Asa. Their face still couldn't be seen even with her night vision. "You see, our viewers are no longer satisfied with just observing the universes I broadcast. They want something more, something new." The Creator said, with a sad note to their tone. "But I don't have enough resources and power to do full-on crossovers for them yet, so I decided on a more... non interactive solution."

Asa frowned. How can they make a crossover where characters and universes don't interact? Unless... Her eyes slightly widened. Did they already have enough energy to...

"It seems you've caught on already. Wonderful! Now go take your team, Matty will be the Guide, Curious will arrange the area and you choose the characters. Don't forget about Vald, he could be a bodyguard. The main universe name is "My Hero Academia", additional ones are U112, T145 and H563." The Creator said, already turning back to the monitors and waving a dismissive hand.

Asa bowed, and with a quiet "Yes, boss." was out the door in seconds. The Creator was nice, sure, but she really didn't want to test her luck today. The bat-girl looked at the sky and, when found the right star, took off.

***

Today's day wasn't anything unusual. There wasn't even any training today. Izuku was sitting in a couch next to Todoroki at a movie night with his classmates since it was Saturday. Nothing was out of ordinary, his classmates were laughing and chatting, relaxing. Everything was okay.

So what was thes weird feeling Izuku was getting. Like something was wrong. It wasn't his usual anxiety, he knew that much. Maybe it was anticipation? They had joint training with class 1-B on Monday, but why would he think about in now? It didn't make sense.

Suddenly, he felt exhausted. Like someone instantly drained all of his energy with a vacuum cleaner. He took a look at his classmates and noticed their similar states. Their eyelids were dropping, the movements becoming sluggish. Izuku tried to say something, but his tongue wouldn't move. He didn't have time to panic though, as his word has gone black.

Izuku came to on a hard floor. His eyes opened slowly as he tried to sit up with his head hurting. He heard voices around and raised his head to look. His classmates were standing closest to him, some were sitting on the floor. There were also his teachers here, he could make out Aizawa, Midnight, Present Mic, All Might, Nezu and others. Someone seemed to notice his awakening since he heard a voice calling for him. He turned his hers and saw Kirishima.

"Hey, Midoriya! Are you alright? You were out the longest, are you hurt anywhere?" The classmate asked, leaning in to see his face better. Other people in the room, upon hearing the boy hurried to Izuku to ask similar questions.

"Guys, I'm okay, really! I'm not hur anywhere, I promise!" He told them. They seemed to notice his honesty and calmed down a little, though now they seemed to focus on something else.

"Where are we anyway? How did we get here?" Kaminari exclaimed, anxiety filling his voice. As Izuku looked around, he noticed that they were in a big room with a large screen covering most of the wall in front of them. Comfortable-looking green couches were placed facing the screen, along with a big coffee table. A white carpet was covering the floor. There was also a door on the opposite wall, but when he asked, Izuku's classmates told him it was locked. The room had no windows nor vents, so no alternative escape roots either. Only the presence of his classmates kept Izuku from havin a panic attack right now.

Suddenly, a bright light came out of the screen, bright enough for everyone to shield their eyes with their hands. From it, came out two figures. Everyone in the room became alert once they noticed the newcomers.

One of the figures was a woman with ginger hair half tied in a bun. One of her eyes was half closed and didn't move as she studied other people in the room, and a monocle sat in front of her other eye. Her clothes were kind of old-fashioned and she had a huge coat hanging on her shoulders. The smile she wore was friendly and inviting.

The second one, on the other hand, had a neutral, tired expression on his face that just screamd that the man didn't want to be here. He was tall, taller than All Might, almost as skinny as All Might, had huge bags under his eyes, sunken cheeks and sickly pale skin. His clothes were worn-out, bandages covered his hands and wrists. Despite all of it, he didn't seem weak. He stood slightly behind the woman on her left, giving off protective aura.

The people stood in front of the screen, looking at the group. After a few moments the woman spoke up.

"Hello, dear heroes and heroes in training. Before you try to attack, I wanted to clarify that I do not intend to cause any harm. I'm here as your Guide and will explain everything to you, if you're willing to listen." She said with a calm voice.

The heroes tensed up at her words. This was very strange and unnerving. Even if she didn't want to hurt them, she still likely kidnapped them. There was a long silence before someone spoke up.

"H-how can we trust anything you say?" Izuku tried to hide his uncertainty with false confidence. At his question, the woman turned to him with a kind gaze.

"Well, I can't prove my harmlessness right now, but I can explain a little to help you understand." She reached in her pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. Lighting up one, she pressed it to her lips and enhaled.

"My name is Matty and I'm your Guide for your stay here. This place is called Reaction Room Space, or RRS for short. How could I explain it to you... Think of it as a space between the universes." At this, everyones eyes widened. Universes? Does that mean multiverse is real? But that wasn't possible.

"Quit your bullshit! Tell us why did you bring us here!" Kacchan's loud voice rang out. He looked the least bothered by this situation, but Izuku knew better than assume things about him. His hand was up and angled towards Matty in a threatening manner.

"Oh, there seems to be a misunderstanding. I wasn't the one to do it, I just work for that person. To answer why you were taken from your respective universe, yours is chosen to participate in the "AltReact" project, where you watch alternative universes of you and your comrades."

"Wait, so this 'universe' thing is real? How would that even work?" Asked Mina. The heroes and the students were less tense, but more confused now.

"How can you guarantee you're not making this up?" A stern voice rang out. Aizawa had his quirk turned on, his gaze on the woman.

"I'm afraid you'll have to see for yourselves. After you finish watching I'll send you all back, I promise. The door in the back leads to a kitchen, a bathroom, and bedrooms for each of you in case you need a break. Unfortunately, I can't send you back unless you complete the task. On the other hand it could be beneficial to you, since you can observe things that may happen in the future or learn more about your friends and enemies." The woman finished her speech with a bow, her finished cigarette vanishing into thin air.

By the time she stopped speaking, everyone were relatively calm. The woman didn't feel like a threat and wasn't showing signs of hostility. The students went to sit on the front seats, while the teachers sat on the back.

"Wow, these couches are so comfy." Sero commented, collapsing next to Kaminari and Kirishima, with Mina on the other side. Jirou and Bakugo sat on the beanbags near that couch. Izuku was on another one with Todoroki, Uraraka and Iida, Tsu sitting on an arm chair right next to them. Shoji, Ojiro, Koda and Tokoyami sat behind them, Momo and Hagakure were also on the beanbags at the front. Sato was talking with Aoyama behind Kirishima and Kaminari. Everyone noticed Mineta's absence, but nobody said a thing.

Everyone also noticed, that there was a lot of empty space left, as if somebody else was supposed to be here. After everyone found a place to rest, Matty went to stand in front of the screen. Izuku noticed that the man wasn't with her. He looked at the back of the room and noticed him standing next to the door, hand behind his back.

"Izuku, dear, don't worry about Vald. He's here to stop any fights that may take place in this room. So. First I have to clarify that the you from anothe universe and you are not the same person. Their actions don't matter in your world and you're not accountable for their poor decisions. Don't even try to attack others over their alt self doings. Second, the information shown here may be personal, so if you want to take a break, you do it. No one is going to stop you. The universes will be mainly focused on one person, but POVs can change. So, the main focus will be..." The screen lit up, and their names were shown changing in rapid succession, eventually stopping on-

"Midoriya Izuku!" Matty exclaimed happily, throwing her hands up.

"Haah!? Why that nerd!?" Bakugo shouted from his seat.

"Me!?" Panic was laced in his voice. He always hated when attention was directed at him, and now a whole world focused mainly on him? He didn't know if he could handle that.

A notebook with a pen appeared in his hands. He looked up at Matty in surprise.

"I know it helps you keep calm, sweetie. If you run out of pages, just ask Vald." A smile bloomed on her face. Izuku noded, clutching the notebook to his chest.

Matty turned to the others again. "You have 4 universes to react to, but you can choose the first one yourself. You can watch them one after the other, or you can watch them one chapter at a time." After she said that, four hotels appeared on the screen.

Hero Class Civil Warfare"
"Tea in a bar"
"Usawagi - Rumor Rabbit"
"heap of ashes that i am"

"These names are... Promising." Nezu commented. He seemed deep in thought, like he was considering something.

"Can you give us some sort of description of them? I don't think we can choose based on the name alone." Said All Might, confidently. He was in his skinny form, but still was ready to fight if it was all a trap after all.

"Huh... Yeah, for some of them I can. Let's see..." Matty squirted her eye on the screen.

"The first one describes UA's final exam, but in from of a major hero vs villain warfare, the second is about Izuku finding comfort in people he didn't expect, in the forth one Izuku finds out he has a quirk in a depressive way and I can't tell you much about the third one without spoilers." Matty quickly summarised.

'Well that was helpful.' Izuku thought. These descriptions were too vague, he still didn't know where to start.

"The first one sounds interesting." Uraraka chimed in. "What if we have something like that in the future? It will be helpful!" Honestly, she just thought it sounded the least negative.

"I agree, sounds fun!" Kaminari added, a grin on his face wider than before.

The teachers were asking Nezu questions about the exam, and the chimera explained, that it was an idea that he never got to try out. Even more interested, the teachers also were choosing this one.

Eventually, everyone agreed on the first one. At their choice, Matty noded and disappeared out of the room, a loading bar appeared on the screen.
