“Well, I, for one, admire the character,” Robin replied. “I shall not conform to the notion that my greatest achievement should be marrying a man simply to rear children and provide him heirs. I cannot imagine anything worse. I do not wish for it at all, if I am honest.”
“And what of love?” Nancy asked. “What if those things come from affection? Devotion?”
