Chapter 1: The Two-Entity System

Chapter Text

Countryhumans represent the nation itself.

They handle things connected to the country’s identity and international presence.

They are responsible for: Foreign relations, Diplomacy between nations, Alliances and rivalries, Cultural representation, International organizations (UN, NATO, BRICS, etc.)
Symbolizing the people and national spirit, Large geopolitical conflicts and cooperation.

They basically run the geopolitical side of the world.

(Ex: Elvira Grace Jones (America) )

Governmenthumans represent the actual ruling system and leadership inside the country.

They are responsible for Internal politics, Laws and policy, Elections, Economy management, Military orders, Domestic issues, Propaganda/state messaging Running the government itself.

They handle the internal political side of the nation. They are usually represents the capital city of the nation.
(EX: Ruby Mae Washington (Washington D.C)

So the two can cooperate… or completely clash against each other.

EX: Elvira disagree a lot of what of Ruby is doing recently especially which the ICE situation.

I split a country into two entities because a nation and its government are not the same thing. The countryhuman represents the people, culture, history, language, traditions, and overall identity of the nation. The government human represents the leadership, political system, laws, and current administration.

That separation lets me explore politics and history in a more nuanced way without making the country itself personally responsible for every action its government takes. Governments can change quickly, but the identity of a nation and its people usually lasts much longer.

For example, a countryhuman might disagree with their own government human, just like real citizens often disagree with their leaders. It also makes diplomacy, internal conflict, revolutions, propaganda, and regime changes more interesting to write because there are two perspectives in the same nation.
