“I can relate,” Mike offered consolingly in response to Lucas’s rambling, squeezing Will’s hand as he said it. Warmth washed through Will all the way down to his toes at the words paired with the gesture.
“Exactly!” Lucas said, straightening up and fixing them with a manic sort of excitement. “So you guys get it.”
