   This fic is basically about Mary thinking she has a crush on James because she feels jealous when she sees him and Lily together. BUT she actually has a crush on lily. she doesnt clock this bc its the 70s and she has never been told that being bisexual is an option and thay prevents her from transforming into a cool happy acepting confident bisexual girl. but she'll get there trust.
