TW: Mentions of self-harm
(This reader is GN)
Reaction to a reader who self-harms:
- Pierrot
- When he found out you self-harm, you probably were doing it where he could see you in the bedroom, and he's instantly horrified. He wants to immediately go to you, probably to cuddle or take every sharp object out of your house :)
- You're scared when he finds you. You, of course, had no idea that he was checking up on you, so to have him come into your house from the balcony, without a peep is quite a fright. However, it is nice to have someone to hug at least!
Even though he probably doesn't care about you. - You cry into Pierrot's chest, and once you calm down he takes you straight to Doctor. (I mean your literally bleeding out in his arms) His precious MC shouldn't be hurting at all. Your too perfect in his eyes to be cutting through your beautiful skin.
- I also think that he also made you take time off work so you can rest and focus on your mental health more.
- After this moment, he would be very protective of you. If you're ever in your bed, trying to go to sleep late at night, you might notice a few shuffles, Pierrot. He'd look at you through your window to make sure you're okay. Eventually, you stop locking your windows at night. Knowing that even if someone tried to come in he would probably, kill them, eat them, or beat em up.
- When any of the others—
Harlequin especially—ask him or even ask you what happened, when he carried you to Doctor, the members smelling your blood seeping out of you, he gets defensive and says it's not their business. They all find out eventually, but you still enjoy how he stil wants to protect you after seeing what you do to yourself, you honestly expected him to be disgusted.
- Harlequin
- I honestly think he wouldn’t care all that much about you, until he sees a conscious reader (mc), being carried by a worried Pierrot with a lot of scars littering your arms and thighs, the scars looked deep.
- If he didn’t care about you that much. He does now.
- He thinks you're "interesting" to say the least.
He totally doesn't care so much about you that he sneaked into Doctor's tent to see if you're ok. - He starts an uneasy truce with Pierrot, he doesn't want his rivalry to end up with you getting hurt more.
- Ticket Taker
- I feel like he would find out when Pierrot appears at the circus running with you in his arms.
- He lets you two through to get to Doctor (W Ticket Taker).
- I feel like he wouldn’t care all that much. But he definitely became more interested in you.
- Doctor
- When he saw Pierrot running to him with you in his arms, he assumed the worst.
- Although, he was intrigued with your capability to harm this fragile body of yours.
- He honestly did become a little worried.
- He’s not sure if the others already knew this about you, but when you were in his tent and rolled up your sleeves he did see scars, but you said they were from your cat.
- But now seeing a lot more scars and knowing that you self-harm now, he was wondering what made you destroy this fragile and interesting body of yours.
- His utmost concern though, is the fact you haven’t spoken since Pierrot stopped you from cutting into your skin back at your apartment.
- He also takes notice, that you stare into space or zone out a lot more now.
- As if you're replaying what happened in your head for a long time.
- Doctor ends up searching up mental disorders, to see if it's something he can help with.
- When Harlequin sneaks out to see if you're alright, he teases Harlequin about caring.
- A few bumps on the head later, Doctor promises to never tease Harlequin again.
- Jester
- I feel like he would put up the facade of “I could care less”, but he’s really confused and conflicted.
- He sees Pierrot carrying you to Doctor quickly, as if you're the most fragile thing.
- The thing that confuses him the most is that a human saves Pierrot, and harms themselves and it makes no sense.
- Well that is until he of COURSE, goes to Doctor's tent, finds you and snoops through your head a little, just to see what you're thinking.
- He doesn’t like your mind. That’s one thing for sure.
- He may not trust you all that much, but he does feel kinda bad.
- I mean he was only in your mind for 3 seconds and got tired of your own thoughts.
- Coffee Shop Boss
- Wouldn't know at first. One day, you just mysteriously didn't show up for work with no explanation. Safe to say, he's pissed when you come back two days later, he's close to firing you.
- However, when you explain that something bad had happened (He knows you pretty well, he gets the message), he apologizes for bursting out at you and comforts you.
- You tell him that a "friend" helped you, and kept you home for your own safety. He can guess it's one of those crazy clowns, though.
- He used to not like Pierrot and the other circus members , but now that he knows Pierrot helped you, he's a bit more receptive to flyers in his shop.
- Soon enough, there's a Freak Frozen Coffee /j
