Chapter Text
Creation myths have been a love of mine for years now. For me they are not simply attempts at ancient peoples to explain the origins of the world and themselves, but true accounts of how different groups of people were created by the Gods.
In my belief all of the stories presented here happened after a horrific cataclysmic event occurred in 4000 BC which wiped out most of the earth's population, human and animal, along with the civilizations that existed prior to it, and it is through this lens I interpret them.
The people you will meet in these chapters are not simply 'new humans', but, in my opinion, common ancestors of all of us alive today. Whether they be from China, North America, ancient Sumeria or Japan, the bloodlines of these people mixed and remixed through the following centuries leading down to our own so that we all descend from them.
It is with this in mind I present these stories, as a testament to human resilience and a tribute to our common ancestors who were born into a post apocalyptic world and survived so we could be here today.
