Cale’s eye twitches.
‘What happened here exactly?’
In front of him, Cale frowns at the mess in the room, with pillows and blankets dotted across the floor and a flurry of red, grey, and black sleeping in odd positions.
He sighs. ‘Children should be children—still, what a mess.’
Staring at the content expressions on the children averaging 7 years old, Cale huffs with a slight smile on his face. He carefully scoops the pile up and lays them across his bed, taking care not to wake the trio.
“I..! Great and mighty..” Raon mutters with drool dripping down his snout.
Cale wipes Raon’s mouth with his sleeve. ‘It would be bad if Raon got drool on my bed.’
Sparing a glance toward the kittens Cale pats them a few times before exiting the room and closing the door as quietly as possible.

‘..I’ll go get Ron. He should be able to clean quietly without waking the children seeing as how he’s an assassin—right?’
