Summary
In a world where Hybrid/nonhuman species are highly discriminated against for their “unfair and unnatural advantages,” an organization called the Watchers is in charge of removing any and all Hybrid traits from the face of the earth. A group called the “Lifers” are rumored to be the only ones left. They keep themselves hidden in plain sight, living as normal people and hiding their features with clothing and magic. Unfortunately they can’t stay hidden forever, the canary is always the first to pay the price...
In other words, Jimmy gets caught by the Watchers and the Lifers rescue him. They must work together to try and take down the Watchers without getting themselves killed in the process.
