You have been living with Lily for about 4 months now and it has been nothing but amazing. It was nice to find someone who was not afraid to be childish and be such a good friend. Although you were very shy at first, pretty soon you were yourself around her, letting her know about everything. Well... Except the girl in you. But you will never let that part out.
Today was a weekend where you and her could have fun all day! It started off with you and her watching PBS kids while eating your favorite cereal. After you played with building blocks. You and her made an awesome castle out of them. Then you two saw who could make the tallest build without it falling. And after that you played Uno with her. You decide to spice things up and have the winner make the loser do a bet.
You had only 3 cards left while she had 11. "Hehehe, looks like im gonna win!" You declare with a smug grin on your face. She is visible distraught and panicking, "W-Well, you don't know, maybe I can still win!"
"Oh really?" You place down a skip card then a wild card, "RED AND UNO!!" You say with your full chest. You can already taste your victory, you can barely stay still in your seat. Your thinking about what things you can make Lily do. Maybe make her sing a song in a language she doesn't know and see her mess up, or maybe make her say a embarrassing fact about herself. Aw man that would be so fu-
"...Why are you smiling?" You ask her as you notice her grin that's ear to ear. She lets out a small chuckle that escalated to a manic laughter. "Hahaha, You fool!" She yelled as she got ready to place her cards, "I HAVE NOTHING BUT CARDS THAT SKIP YOUR TURN! SKIP! SKIP! SKIP! REVERSE! REVERSE! REVERSE! PLUS 2! PLUS 2! PLUS 2! PLUS 4! UNO! AND PLUS 4!!!!!!!!!"
She fully wiped that smug smile on your face and replaced it with nothing but sorrow. You were left so dumbfounded that you couldn't even speak. You saw Lily chear and jump all around, celebrating her victory. "I won! I won! Yippee!"
Almost immediately after she said that she stopped and fully turned to you with a scary looking face. "Now, its time for your punishment." She said with a wicked grin. She pretended to think hard about her answer, with her putting her hand on her chin and going "hmmm."
"I know!" She said while putting her finger in her air. With her already trying to hold back her laughter she pointed at you and declared your punishment, "You will be dressing up as a girl!" When you heard that you didn't react how she thought you would. For a moment you were caught off guard, then got excited, but then acted like it was the worst punishment ever. "Aw m-man, that? That really s-sucks." You said.
Lily took note on how you reacted, you could see that she was confused. But she didn't question it, she brought you along into her room and started looking threw her closet. "Um... So how are we going to do this?" She pulls out one of her standerd purple dresses paired with overalls.
"First, go into my closet and put on this." She tells you. You really wanted to relent and run away, but a bet is a bet. You go into the closet and take off your clothes. As you slip onto her dress, you feel strange. You feel a wave of peace come over you, it feels nice. Its obvious that the dress is too big for you, but it feels so comfortable wearing it. You want to twirl around in it and just be you in it.
You hear knocking on the door "Hey! You done? You've been in there for forever!" She exaggerates, you quickly bring yourself to reality and come out of the closet. "Awwww you look really pretty! But not pretty enough!" You felt really happy but you hide it so that she doesn't think you're weird. To be honest, you start to feel a pain in your chest with having to hold back your happiness. She brought out her makeup and made you sit down, "stay still now."
She started to apply makeup onto you. Even though you can't see yourself you feel really pretty. She applies eye liner and pretty eye lashes on you. Then she brings out a wig and puts it on you. You would ask why she had a wig, but before you could she wrapped a blind fold around your eyes and brought you to the bathroom. She asked you if you were ready, and nervously you nodded your head. She undid the blindfold and saw yourself in the mirror. "Tada!"
You saw yourself in the mirror, and you just felt like yourself, you finally found the person you wanted to be for your entire life.
"I originally thought of this as a punishment, but this is just more me playing dress up with you, and you look really pretty. Oh well, I did a good job with the make up didn't... I..." She notices you were starting to cry. It was a little at first but pretty soon it turned into a waterfall of tears. "Oh my gosh, im so sorry. Was the punishment too much? I can remove the make up and wig if you want" she says in a caring voice. She reaches to take off your wig buy you stop her. " N-No, it's n-n-not that, I'm just s-so happy." You said while trying to keep it all in. Lily looks a you and connects two and two together, she realizes you are trans." P-Please d-don't hate me." You cry to her as you hug yourself. You feel like such a monster, wanting to be a girl. You think that Lily probably hates you now and wants to move out. You've lost your best friend yet again.
Your vision is so blurry from you crying so much. You feel Lily put your arms around yourself. You hear her breath in to say something, you brace yourself for her to say something horrible. "What are you talking about? I could never hate you." Hearing that made you feel safe to be around someone who knew you were trans for the first time. You hug her and cry all of it out. "Let it all out, it's fine, you're safe with me."
It has been a couple of minutes since you stopped crying. You and her are sitting on the couch, she is giving you time for you to collect your thoughts. After a while you say what's on your mind. "For the longest time I have known I want to be a girl. But whenever I told anyone about it, they would hate me. My family and friends left me. My mom and dad kicked me out. Your not going to kick me out right?"
Lily hugs you, "No, I'm not going to kick you out, and I am so sorry that happened to you. You've been threw so much and I wish you were treated better. And now because I am here, I will treat you better, because you deserve it."
She looks at you, "If you are comfortable to say, are you currently transitioning right now?" You shake your head, "No, I've been to scared to. I was scared that people would hurt me if I did."
"Do you want to?" She asks. "Yes, I do." You say. "Then do it! I want you too be happy and of that means you transitioning then I will not stop you!" She tells you with a smile. "But I'm really scared to, what if people at work notice that im transitioning and hate me for it?"
"Then I'll kick their butts for not respecting you! It doesn't matter what other people think! If you say you are a girl, you are a girl!"
"But... Transitioning is expensive, so maybe I-" Lily interrupts you, "Then I'll pay, you don't worry about a thing."
You look down and back up at her, "Are you... Sure?"
"Of course! I will do everything in my power to let you know that you are beautiful girl and valid!" Hearing that... made you smile. You thank her for her being your friend and pull her into a deep hug.
