[COMIC]: MURDERBOT GETS MARRIED (sort of)

Summary:

A comic based on @abeautifulblog's post of the same name and the below summary:

Murderbot gets married not in a weird way in a very Murderbot way—which means horrendously awkward conversations with the in-laws, no fewer than five panic attacks, and ABSOLUTELY! NO! KISSING!!

I was enamored with the (sort of) fic and when Mensah Murderbot March came around I had to participate when I saw this prompt :D

MB & Mensah platonic marriage, because they're important to each other.

I'd be super interested in seeing any part of this outline expanded on from any POV, or illustrations of some of the more visually striking moments described, or additional meta on any of the potential issues it raises about bot/construct rights, etc. etc.

Basically I just think this is a fantastic piece of writing with a lot of space to explore and take inspiration from and I'd love to see what anyone comes up with!

Work Text:

I remembered seeing this non-fic and loving it. Then, when I was it was prompted in the Mensah Murderbot March, I knew I had to draw the last frame. Then I thought "What if I drew the few frames leading up to it?" then "what if I drew the whole thing? Not super detailed. Really quick" then "what if I drew every panel in detail" then "what if the wedding scene was super detailed" "what if I drew every member of the team"

So we ended up here- I can still see some mistakes and might fix them in the future, but I'm happy with where its at and will now have time to work on my other two claims for MMM
