Summary
By the time Talon reaches the top of the mountain, he is in dire straits, but he would not admit that to anyone. He misses the air and he misses the weightlessness of flight. A year ago Talon could have ascended the mountain in seconds, tasting the wind on his tongue like cold steel.
(Having lost his power, Talon visits an old friend. He hopes to be taught discipline, but unfortunately Talon isn't a very good student.)
